As a full time, exemptCPS SpecialtyPharmacist,you will be working with the physicians and nurses to provide quality Specialty Pharmacy services and care. This position will act as the point of contact in the Midlands market for Prisma Specialty Pharmacy with roughly a 25-mile radius. Daily activities will include coordination of communication and activities between the Specialty pharmacy, physicians, nurses, pharmacists and patients. You will provide customer service and expertise to patients and providers regarding specialty pharmacy enrollment, prescription processing, benefits inquiries, prescription status inquiries, management of specialty pharmacys clinical program, and resolution of issues. Your duties willinclude meeting with Physicians and their staff to provide detailed information about the Prisma Specialty Pharmacy and may also include front end order entry. This role has an office at the Richland Hospital, however, includes travel to other clinics in a personal vehicle. Drive time and mileage are reimbursed. This position reports to the Director of Specialty Pharmacy Services.
Schedule: This position will work at least 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday daytime hours; there are no scheduled weekends or holidays. This position requires localtravel with a personal vehicle.
CPS has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS.
