Wal-Mart is the
largest private employer in the world. To attract and keep
the very best people, we offer competitive pay and
benefits for both full-time and part-time associates,
provide an exciting work environment, and operate every
day according to three principles laid out by Wal-Mart
Founder Sam Walton: Respect for the individual, service to
our customers, and striving for excellence.
WORK HOURS
Wal-Mart Pharmacists generally work very flexible hours. Most of our stores are
open every day of the week - allowing you more options in choosing a time to
work that best fits your schedule. Wal-Mart also hires Relief Pharmacists who
fill in for our vacationing or absent Pharmacists.
We believe in giving our Pharmacists the opportunity to grow and develop in a
multitude of ways during the course of their careers. We have wide-ranging
career paths that might be of interest to you.
Pharmacists do not have to limit themselves to the opportunities within the
Pharmacy Division. Because we recognize leadership at any level, we encourage
Associates to follow their interests, even if it ends up being outside the
Division.
