Clinical Pharmacy Services Program

The University of Massachusetts Medical School -Clinical Pharmacy Services (CPS) program assists health care organizations achieve positive patient outcomes and maximize the efficiency of drug utilization through innovative and effective consulting and service models. CPS manages several formulary and drug utilization management contracts, including state Medicaid and managed care organizations serving the underprivileged in their communities. CPS has and continues to experience tremendous growth and provide opportunities that present career growth. Core competencies of the CPS program include preferred drug list/formulary management support, utilization management, disease state management, data and analytic reporting, provider education and clinical call center operations.
