As a KPS pharmacist you will play an important role in helping enhance resident care. We offer a number of programs that assist long-term care facilities in enhancing care, reducing costs and complying with federal and state regulations. Our clinical pharmacists work closely with the nursing staff and facility medical directors to assure compliance with appropriate healthcare regulations.

KPS, the Pharmacy Division of Kindred Healthcare, is looking for pharmacists to work in hospitals.  KPS is part of Kindred Healthcare, a Fortune 500 company. We operate more than 60 long-term acute care hospitals (LTACH) in 23 states, more than 250 skilled nursing centers in 30 states, and a contract rehabilitation services business. 

As of September 30, 2004,  we operate more than 70 long-term acute care hospitals in 24 states, and 249 skilled nursing centers in 29 states.

Pharmacy Staff

As a hospital pharmacist with KPS you will be actively involved in the entire medication use management process. You will interface routinely with and play a strategic role in the interdisciplinary patient care team which includes, physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, dietitians and others. Our clinical team is supported by an electronic medical record with CPOE and a completely interfaced pharmacy application.
