three major hospital facilities.

Raleigh Campus – A multi-service facility with 515 acute beds. As one of the state’s
leading providers of care for cardiac disease, our world-famous Heart Center is housed

Cary Hospital – This recently expanded facility features a 24-hour emergency department,
day surgery center and cardiac catheterization lab. Cary, NC, is a thriving community

Apex Healthplex - Opening in early 2008, the Healthplex is a state-of-the-art medical
complex, home to WakeMed’s second 24-hour, full service, free-standing emergency department.
