As a leading provider of PET radiopharmaceuticals, Cardinal Health offers a nationwide network to service PET centers across the country.Cardinal Health PET Service programs are designed to increase patient access to this important imaging modality. Positron Emission Tomography (PET) is a growing modality that enhances patient treatment through improved disease diagnosis, staging, and monitoring.
Leveraging our fully integrated network of 156 domestic nuclear pharmacies, Cardinal Health PET Services compounds, dispenses and distributes patient-specific, unit-dose FDG in 78 pharmacy markets today. This feat is enabled by our unmatched pharmacy network which already delivers 7,000,000 time-critical radiopharmaceutical doses per year with unmatched speed and accuracy.
Duties of a PET Technician
PET Technicians produce, test and package radiopharmaceuticals in a laboratory environment utilizing sophisticated particle accelerators/cyclotrons. Through our in-house training program, you will develop specialized knowledge and skills in the growing field of Nuclear Pharmacy.
