Brooks Eckerd
Pharmacy was created from the merger of two
successful community pharmacies, Brooks Pharmacy
and Eckerd Pharmacy. We share a “pharmacy-first”
approach and commitment to investing in our people
and our technology to stay at the forefront
of pharmaceutical care. Together, we’re the
fourth-largest pharmacy chain in America, with
more than 1,800 locations in 18 states along the
Eastern seaboard. We take great pride in

Our Pharmacists are respected

Our advanced systems ensure accuracy and
efficiency, and streamline the Pharmacist’s
workload. Our Pharmacists practice what they
were trained to do – advise and educate consumers,
build relationships with patients, and provide
disease-state management through programs such
as Medication Therapy Management. In addition,
RxCare Centers, located adjacent to the Pharmacy,
offer privacy and one-on-one attention to patients
with medical questions and concerns.

Brooks Eckerd Pharmacy is committed to making the technological investments needed to remain at the forefront of quality patient care. All of our pharmacies are networked through our RXServer, and our frame relay communication network provides quick claim adjudication. Our RXCare system helps Pharmacists manage their workflow and provides advanced capabilities. By providing this technology, Pharmacists can take charge of the information, communication, and management responsibilities so important to quality healthcare.
